MEET THE FOUNDER

Alysha Randall

CPA | CFO | Founder

I’ve been working with startups and scaleups since 2006, both as an in-house finance leader and as a Fractional CFO.

That’s included building finance functions from scratch, fixing broken ones, and supporting founders through growth and fundraising.

Alongside Fast Growth Consulting, I am currently a CFO within a UK fintech. So everything I teach is based on what’s actually happening inside businesses right now.

I started Financial Leadership Foundations because I saw the same pattern again and again. Strong finance professionals stepping into leadership roles without the support, structure, or guidance they actually needed.

Most finance training focuses on technical skills. The gap is leadership, commercial thinking, and knowing how to operate in a startup environment.

That’s what FLF is built to solve.

I’ve worked with teams across the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia, South Africa and the US, helping both founders and finance professionals build finance functions that go beyond reporting and actually support growth.

I’ve worked with businesses including Collagerie, Funding Circle, GoTrade, Just Move In, Legl, LoveFilm, Daye, SideQuest VR, Super Payments, VenueScanner and Wafflemeister.

As a female CFO and business owner, I’m particularly passionate about helping more women step into senior finance roles, and making leadership feel more accessible and achievable.

Outside work, I love spending time with my family, riding bikes & playing tennis with the children, any water sports and cooking up a storm. I also wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for copious amounts of coffee!
